DEARBORN, Mich. (WJBK) - Expect a weekend full of fireworks, food and fun at this year's Dearborn Homecoming Festival.

The 34th annual affair heads to Ford Field Park August 2-4, with over 100,000 people from across the state expected to gather to enjoy the music, carnival rides, a classic car show and much more.

Don't miss out on this year's headlining act, the contemporary rock band, Blues Traveler.

Fireworks skyrocket Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 p.m.

Free parking and a free shuttle service from Dearborn High School is also available. Parking at Ford Field Park during the festival is $10.

Enjoy lunch or dinner at a variety of food booths -- including the Polish and Italian tents. All food and beverage profits help fund scholarships, cultural programs and other local worthwhile causes.

Last year the three-day event drew in more than $70,000 for the city.

This year's sponsors include the Dearborn Community Fund and the City of Dearborn.
