Missing girl safe, dropped off with a family member

PHOENIX - Phoenix Police have located a missing endangered child, 3 years old. She was believed to be in the company of her mother's boyfriend.

Sophia Esmeralda Martin was last seen in the area of 4300 West Jefferson Street in Phoenix on Friday, August 2. Her mother's boyfriend, Ernesto Buenrostro, allegedly refused to return the child to her mother and made statements he might hurt the child, police say.

Monday night after police issued the bulletin, Sophia was dropped off into the care of a family member. She is ok.
