SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

A Scottsdale man is facing aggravated assault charges in a domestic violence situation involving his former girlfriend.

According to court paperwork, in mid-July, Kyle Hollenbeck pushed his girlfriend to the floor and choked her. When she tried to ran outside and get away, he allegedly grabbed her neck and threw her down onto the concrete.

She hit the ground face-first and suffered extensive wounds to her face, including substantial abrasions and chipped teeth. Her teeth were also pushed inward.

The following day, Hollenbeck took the victim to the dentist who bonded the chipped teeth and gave her a retainer -- but she still needs additional care. She broke up with him, but he continued to call, text and email her.

Court paperwork alleges that he would show up at her apartment unannounced and call dozens of times in one night.

Hollenbeck was booked into jail on charges of aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment by communication.

Hollenbeck is employed by LivingSocial.
