Buccaneers vs. Jets preview

Posted: Updated:

Tampa Bay @ New York Jets

Forecast: Mostly Sunny 80

Injury Report:

Tampa Bay:

Mike James RB- Eye- Questionable

New York Jets:

Stephen Hill WR- Knee - Probable

Santonio Holmes WR- Foot- Questionable

Mark Sanchez QB- Shoulder- Out

Geno Smith QB- Ankle- Probable

Jeremy Kerley WR- Finger- Probable

Kellen Winslow TE- Knee- Probable

Tampa Bay Offense:

Josh Freeman should have a decent game in the opener against the Jets who are an absolute M-E-S-S. 270-280 yards and a score sounds about right.

Doug Martin should finish with around 150 combo yards and a touchdown.

Mike Williams and Vincent Jackson are plausable starters with Williams finishing near 90 yards and Jackson with 115ish. One will score.

The defense is a must play against the Jets.

New York Jets:

If you are starting any Jets, you might need to seek psychiatric help. Rookie Geno Smith gets the start and will struggle.

Running backs Bilal Powell and Chris Ivory will combine for 75 yards.

There are no playable receivers.

Nick Folk will provide the offense, but isn't worth starting and neither is the defense.
