Green Bay vs. San Francisco preview

Posted: Updated:

Green Bay @ San Francisco

Forecast: Partly Cloudy 78

Injury Report:

San Francisco:

LaMichael James RB- Knee- Questionable

Green Bay Packers Offense:

From the department of the obvious, we bring you the "start Aaron Rodgers" show. A-Rodg is matchup proof and won't disappoint. He'll throw for over 300 and probably find the endzone three times.

Jordy Nelson will take his rightfull place as the top receiver and he'll put up over 100 yards and a score making him a must start. Randall Cobb, James Jones and Jermichael Finley will split the rest of the yardage and touchdowns through the air.

Personally, I'm a little slow to go on Eddie Lacy mostly because of the lack of opportunities he's going to get. I want to see a week or two before I think about putting him into my lineup.

Despite his struggles, Mason Crosby is a start as he will see opportunities and points as part of a high powered offense.

I like the Packers defense, but this is a tough match up.

San Francisco Offense:

The last time we saw the 49ers and Packers on a football field, Colin Kaepernick was running all over making the Green Bay defense look cheese..(sorry, I had to...). One of the biggest storylines heading into week one was what if any adjustments the Packers would make. Kaepernick will throw for around 225 yards and will rush for an additional 50.

Frank Gore is in for a big day with 120 combo yards and a touchdown and is a must start.

Through the air, Vernon Davis and Anquan Boldin will do most of th dammage with Davis securing the touchdown.

Kicker Phil Dawson is a good start as is the defense which is one of the tops in the NFL.
