Camelback Mountain's Echo Canyon is almost ready to reopen. It's been closed for months for renovations.
Improvements to Echo Canyon's trail and parking area will give hikers easier access to the trail.
Guests will now have more parking, better restrooms, and a better entrance to Echo Canyon trail.
The improvements cost about $3 million.
UPDATE: The opening of the trail has been delayed. The City of Phoenix says some shipments of construction supplies are late, and a new Ramada and restrooms won't be done until the end of the year.
Reopening was set for Saturday, November 30, but now it's been pushed back.
The city says it will announce a new reopening date when they're closer to finishing the upgrades and renovations.
