A/C Unit To Blame For Fire At Northeast Philly Motel

PHILADELPHIA -

An air conditioning unit is to blame for a motel fire in Northeast Philadelphia, officials say.

It happened at the Ramada along the Roosevelt Boulevard and Haldeman Avenue overnight.

Fire officials on the scene also say there was no power to the alarm system.

No one was hurt. The fire marshal is investigating.
