So Shady's back, and no I am not referring to Eminem gazing into the camera on Saturday night. LeSean McCoy went all sorts of crazy on Washington carrying 31 times for 184 yards and even finding the end zone. The performance marks a return to top five status for McCoy and confirms that Chip Kelly's fast break offense is legit.
Michael Vick finished with 203 yards and two touchdowns through the air and 54 yards on the ground and a score as well. Desean Jackson caught seven passes for 104 yards and a touchdown as every aspect of the Eagles offense seemed to click.
RGIII made his return following knee surgery and was productive throwing for 329 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The biggest question following his return is would the dark lord of fantasy football use the force to prevent Griffin from leaving the comfort of the pocket. He tested the waters five times for 24 yards in the opening game.
Leonard Hankerson will tickle the waiver wires after his five catch, 80 yard and two touchdown performance. Pierre Garcon caught seven passes for 64 yards.
After throwing his first pass to a member of the wrong team, Matt Schaub rallied the Texans and his fantasy owners for 346 yards and three touchdowns. Two of the scores went to tight end Owen Daniels who finished with five catches for 67 yards. Andre Johnson went berserk catching 12 balls for 146 yards.
Arian Foster didn't do anything to prove his skeptics wrong as he put up a pedestrian 18 carry 57 yard performance. Yes Charch, that is 3.16 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, in San Diego…
Phil Rivers had a pedestrian yardage game completing only 14 passes for 195 yards. The good news for his owners was that over a quarter of his completions were for touchdowns. Two of the scores went to Eddie Royal whose stat line was anything but impressive (3 rec 24 yds).
Ryan Mathews finished the game with 55 combo yards and a less than 3 yard per carry average.
