On 9/11, firefighter Stephen Siller ran through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel to help people at the World Trade Center. He left behind a devoted group of family and friends dedicated to continuing his legacy of helping others.

His family has established several charities, including the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5k Run and Walk.

Mary Siller-Scullin is Stephen's sister and the vice chair of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

"The predominant emotion (today) is inspiration from what my brother did and all the firefighters, first responders and civilians. We like to remember that first and foremost," said Siller-Scullin.

Stephen Siller was 34 years old when he died.
