GLENDORA, N.J. (AP) - Seven people have been taken to southern New Jersey hospitals after a bus for an adult day-care program collided with multiple cars.

Camden County spokesman Dan Keashen says 3 of the injured were transported to the trauma unit at Cooper University Hospital. Often, people taken there have life-threatening injuries.

Keashen says the seven injured include five passengers on the bus. He says it was not known whether the two others were the bus driver, those in other vehicles, or both.

He says the accident happened around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday on Black Horse Pike in the Glendora section of Gloucester Township.

The seniors were headed for a county-run adult day care in Lakeland.

For decades, making some quick cash was the main drive behind so many who took the ride down the parkway to Atlantic City. But with so much to choose from nowadays, it looks like Atlantic City is in a lot of trouble.
