Sivan's Semi Hard News Report for Wednesday

Posted: Updated:

Some stories just write themselves. If I were to tell you big deal producer Harvey Weinstein pimped out Twilight star Kristen Stewart to an Arab Prince for $500,000 to help victims of hurricane Sandy you'd probably call me a filthy liar with a wild imagination or acid habit. But I promise you, even I couldn't come up with this one on my own. While promoting his Hurricane Sandy benefit concert documentary, Harvey Weinstein mentioned brokering a deal between Kristen Stewart and an unnamed Arab prince who's a die-hard Twilight fan. He told members of the press he arranged for the prince to pay $500,000 cash, upfront, for a 15 minute face to face meeting with Bella Swan. All the cash went to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. Just to re-cap… Harvey Weinstein pimped out K-Stewart to an Arab prince to help hurricane victims. That is all.

It's the season of unions here in Hollywood. First news that Zoe Saldana secretly wed her artist boyfriend Marco Parego. Scarlett Johansson is engaged to her French beau, Romain Dauriac, and now word that Madonna is introducing her 25 year old back up dancer  Braihim Zaibat as her fiancé. It was a Rosh Hashanah surprise to those who overheard it at the Kabala center in New York City last week. So far her reps say it's not true but at this point Madonna could announce she was engaged to Justin Beiber's sequestered pet monkey and most of us would just shrug. Oh Madge.

It's Fashion Week in New York so perfect timing for Marc Jacob to offer a $68 t-shirt oddly similar to a neo-nazi band logo. You can buy a "screwdriver" shirt on CaféPress for just 16 bucks but if you'd rather unknowingly sport a white-supremacist icon under an expensive label, Marc Jacobs offers you that option. Ah the beauty of capitalism.
