LaMichael James- knee- questionable
Sidney Rice- knee- probable
The Packers spent their entire offseason with visions of Colin Kaepernick running up and down the field in the playoffs so it wasn't surprising that Kaepernick would play the Pack like a violin again in the season opener. What was a surprise was the way he did it. He threw for 412 yards and three touchdowns. Ok...so now what? Kaepernick heads to Seattle where the 12th man will attempt to set a Guiness Book record for noise. While I don't see a week one performance, Kaepernick is a weekly start and will produce near 300 yards and a pair of scores.
I don't like Frank Gore this week against the Seattle D. Look for 60 combo yards out of the plodding runner.
Anquan Boldin won't repeat his career best week one performance, but he will go over 80 yards and a score. Vernon Davis will collect the other touchdown with 76 yards.
Kicker Phil Dawson is a great start this week, but don't expect too much out of the defense.
Russell Wilson should finish about where he did a week ago with 320 and two scores.
Marshawn Lynch won't do much on the ground, but I believe he will score. A modest 59 yards on the ground is about the ceiling.
Golden Tate will be the main target in the passing game finishing with 100+ yards and a score. Sidney Rice will also collect a touchdown but will only produce 60ish yards.
I like the Seatle defense and they are a weekly start and Steven Hauschka is always worth a look.
