Elderly man with Alzheimer's missing from South Side

Police are searching for an elderly man with Alzheimer's who went missing from the South Side Saturday afternoon.

Robert Tucker, 84, was last seen about 1 p.m. Saturday in the 6900 block of South Oglesby Avenue, according to a missing person alert issued by police.

Tucker was described as black, standing 5-foot-11, weighing 160 pounds, with brown eyes, gray hair and a medium complexion, police said.He was last seen wearing a black button-down short-sleeved shirt and black jeans, police said.

Despite having Alzheimer's, Tucker can communicate and move well on his own, police said.
