They were found in the trash but make no mistake, they were someone's treasures. Larry Wallace went dumpster diving at a home on Woodward Heights in Hazel Park. Oakland County Sheriff's deputies had just finished clearing out the house.

Larry found a wedding album from 1939. Robert Currie and Lois Wright bound in holy matrimony. He also found other pictures, jewelry and a Vietnam War ring. And there's a diary detailing life on the front lines in Vietnam. One entry from January, 1969 reads: "While sweeping track 14, Bravo company hit a mine. Driver was using extended laterals and was on top of the track. The blast tore his legs all up. It looks like he might lost them."

Now, the Wallaces want to get the property back to its rightful owners or their family members. If you know who it belongs to, call our news hotline: (248) 395-FOX2.
