Rosie G: Fashion For Cystic Fibrosis

Posted: Updated:

Grace Rose Bauer is ten-year-old with Cystic Fibrosis. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to L.A. after Hurricane Katrina. She likes to say that she's from New Orleans and goes to school in Los Angeles. Since L.A. is where her doctors are, it's important that she's here for clinics and to be sure she's staying healthy.

In between her treatments, Grace created the Rosie G. clothing line based on her love of the two cities she call home: Los Angeles and New Orleans. She calls it "beach meets bayou".  She designed her first dress when she was just two years old with the help of her mother who's also a designer.  The name "Rosie G" came from her alter ego. "When I put on my lip gloss and get dressed up, I like to sing and dance in the mirror and I call this person Rosie G!"

Grace says. "All my clothes are super comfortable and they're all made here in the USA.  Another cool thing about my clothing line is that proceeds from sales will go back to CF research to hopefully find a cure."

She has an indiegogo campaign to raise the money to develop the first full collection and take it to stores to sell. You can help her realize TWO dreams if you help her camapign! Plus, there are some great perks here are a few:

  • A custom made bracelet.
  • A custom dress from the collection.
  • A trip to one of her two favorite cities & dinner with her at her favorite restaurant in your own Rosie G. dress.

Sutter Zachman had his first record deal when he was barely out of his teens. You may have seen the Orange County native was on stage at the Largo and other hot clubs around LA. He then left town...after what he called a few "bouts" with the music business, but now he is back with a new EP called ‘Repeat Offender.'
