Freda Kelly: Life And Work With The Beatles

Freda Kelly had the job that millions young women all over the world wanted. She was the secretary for The Beatles. Freda's years of loyalty earned the band's trust and friendship. Freda spent 11 years with The Beatles. She was there for the band's many highs and its low points as well. Now she is telling her story publicly for the first time. In the new documentary "Good Ol' Freda" she shares an insider's perspective on the group widely considered the greatest in the history of rock music.

Freda was just 17-years-old when she started her gig. The band's manager hired her to be his secretary. Eventually Freda was put in charge of the group's fan club. She says she had no idea how big The Beatles would eventually become.At one point she and her staff handled as many as 3,000 fan letters a day.

Ryan White directed "Good Ol' Freda." It's one of the few documentaries made with the support of the remaining Beatles and featuring their music. The licensing costs for the film were extremely high. So the filmmakers used a Kickstarter campaign to help raise money for the documentary. Since the film is a non-profit project, they're also accepting tax-deductible donations to help cover the costs.For more information about the movie and its star go to
