Shedd celebrates 80th anniversary of oldest living aquarium fish

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

One fish, two fish, old fish -- and really old fish. The Shedd Aquarium celebrated the 80th anniversary of Granddad, the Australian lungfish.

Grand-dad is the oldest living fish in any aquarium in the world. He was brought to the Shedd for the world's fair in 1933 and he was already fully grown at that time.

To celebrate, the aquarium gave Granddad a special birthday cake -- with shrimp, peas, squash and seaweed frosting.
