PRESCOTT, Ariz. -

A Michigan man wanted for a parole violation was found and arrested in Prescott on Thursday.

US Marshals say 53-year-old Richard Stewart KALLAS was convicted in 2002 for sexual contact with a 13-year-old boy.

Kallas was sentenced to the Michigan Department of Corrections, but was granted parole in 2012.

US Marshals say Kallas left Michigan, a violation of his parole agreement, and had been sought since.

Prescott Police Department got an anonymous tip that a fugitive had been living in the area for about three months.

The source didn't reveal the fugitive's identity.

US Marshals came in to help and began circulating Kallas' photo to other law enforcement around the country.

A Michigan U.S. Marshal's deputy recognized Kallas in the photo.

KALLAS was arrested as he was leaving his job as a yard worker.

US Marshals say he's currently waiting to be taken back to Michigan.
