CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

FOX 32 News has teamed up with no-kill shelter PAWS Chicago to bring you an adoptable pet each week. This week, we are featuring two special needs pets that need a loving home.

Every day, PAWS Chicago visits the city pound and transfers in as many pets as they can. Many of the animals are neglected or suffering from medical conditions.

Lucky is a loving, five-year old tabby, who suffers from FIV, a disease that suppresses the immune system of cats. She also has only one front leg. But neither condition slows her down!

Then there's Floyd, a charming three-year old beagle. He has Addison's Disease, a genetic disorder of the endocrine system. He takes daily medication and needs routine blood work. But he's a happy-go-lucky guy!

You can meet Lucky and Floyd and other special needs pets at the PAWS Chicago Adoption & Humane Center in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
