'Sea Monsters' opens at the Georgia Aquarium

ATLANTA -

You've seen the sharks, the rays, and the eels at the Georgia Aquarium, but you've never seen them like this!  Sea Monsters Revealed: Aquatic Bodies lets you look inside some of the oceans most incredible creatures.

The collection is made up of real animals that are preserved and, in many cases, opened up to display internal organs, muscles, and nerves.  Creators say it's just about the only safe way to stand inches away from a 3,000 pound whale shark or a 6-foot-wide devil ray.

Sea Monsters opens Friday, and it's scheduled to be at the Georgia Aquarium for the next year.  Admission is included with the facility's ticket price.
