ATLANTA -

The recent mass shooting incidents especially at schools have parents on edge, but a mother who is a former officer is doing something to help put their minds at ease.

Christina Thomas created a backpack she says can stop a bullet on a bad day and give peace of mind to parents about where their child is at every day. It is called the AttachaPack.

Parent can log into a computer or smartphone and find where their child is at any given moment. The backpack is also equipped with a bullet-proof panel and an emergency alert button.

A solar panel inside can also keep the GPS, alert button and even a cell phone fully charged.

The pack costs around $250. For more information head to attachapack.com.
