Woman Struck, Killed By SEPTA Bus In Olney

PHILADELPHIA -

SEPTA says a bus struck and killed a pedestrian early Saturday morning in the Olney section of Philadelphia.

The incident happened just before 6:30 a.m. The Route 18 bus was traveling southbound on Rising Sun Avenue and turning right onto Olney Avenue when it struck the 51-year-old woman.

SEPTA reports that there were about nine passengers on the bus at the time when this happened.
