Dale Malesh, 62, is charged with 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct
(WJBK)-- A retired Warren Police officer accused of having an affair with a teen pleads no contest to the charges against him. 62-year-old Dale Malesh is charged with 14 counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct, which is a 15 year felony.
Malesh was working as a school resource officer at Warren Woods-Tower High School, where the alleged victim was a student. Investigators say Malesh had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old from December 2012 to March 2013, and met with the teen at his home in Warren and at Dooley Park in Roseville-- leading to charges in both cities.
Malesh retired from the Warren Police Department in 2011, after 19 years on the force. He is scheduled to return to court for sentencing November 15th.
