    Imagine speeding down the highway and suddenly seeing an axe flying toward your windshield. It happened to a driver in Massachusetts, who somehow was not hurt.

WEST LUBBOCK, TX -

A new billboard advertisement is stirring up some controversy in Texas.

The image in question depicts Jesus Christ with multiple tattoos and has the words JesusTattoo.org beneath him.  

The web site directs you to a video of Jesus as a tattoo artist, who removes negative tattoos from people's bodies and replaces them with inspiring messages.

Local residents have mixed opinions on the billboard:

"I don't like the picture. I think it's very derogatory."

"I'm thinking more like it's something that's blasphemous, negative."

"But you know, it's a testament of our sin and nobody's perfect."

"I just think that if you want to express how you feel about God or anything, you can put that on your body."

Dr. David Wilson, Pastor of South Crest Baptist Church says, "I think the video on that web site is amazing.  They're trying to target people who've probably never stepped foot in a church.  I look at it as another tool to be used to spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ."

It remains unclear what organization actually paid to sponsor the billboard.
