In late August, Philadelphia Police released surveillance of a WAWA robbery suspect. Today, Philadelphia police want to thank the media and the public for helping them identify the suspect, whom they arrested in late September.

According to authorities, Dean Ceraolo, a 51-year-old homeless man, was the suspect in the video. He was identified by multiple anonymous tips after local media aired the surveillance footage, says Philadelphia Police.

According to investigators, Dean went into a Somerton WAWA in the afternoon of August 24th and approached the cash register. He then told the employee he had a gun and took off with the money from the register.

He is charged with robbery and related offenses, says police.
