SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -

A valley family better get ready for years of big birthday celebrations on the same day! This couple gave birth to a baby girl Monday at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Medical Center.

The infant was born on her dad's birthday -- and also, her grandfather's birthday.

"When my water broke I said let's go!" says Sonya Keel.

And that set in motion the unlikeliest of birthdays.

Little Ava not only shares a birthday with her dad, but with her grandpa too.

"It is amazing and it's funny, because the whole time I was pregnant and I knew her due date was October 24th, I would say you're coming on your daddy's birthday, you're gonna come on your daddy's birthday!"

And she did.

"Someone said what's the best birthday present you ever had. I always said, ask my dad, and now I can say that for myself," says Andy Keel.

Adding to the special occasion, this is the first girl born on her dad's side of the family in 49 years.

"I was happy that we had the baby, the birthday lining up is one thing. Just the fact that we had a girl in the family is great," says grandpa Thomas Keel.

And it's all sinking in.

"I've been on cloud nine ever since, I just can't come down, I can't get over it... It's just crazy," says Thomas.

"I told my husband and my father-in-law, this is the best gift you could've ever gotten," says Sonya.

"She said you birthdays are going to be overshadowed. We said it's ok. I'll give it up, I'll give it up, he had to for a while, it's time to pass it on."
