NeNe Leakes: I Was A Stay At Home Housewife Once

Posted: Updated:

Real Housewife of Atlanta NeNe Leakes was sure about one thing before she re-married ex-husband Gregg:  There was no way she was getting married again without some of the proper paperwork for insurance.

"You have to get a pre-nup, there's nothing with it. People look at it like it's a bad thing and it's not," says NeNe, whose wedding preps were videotaped for all the world to see on the Bravo reality series, 'I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding.'

NeNe tells Steve Edwards and Maria Sanson that getting a pre-nup is the smartest thing she could have done for her marriage, but not because it keep him beholden to her.

"[It doesn't] necessarily keep him in check because I wouldn't want him to not have if I wasn't with him. He's smart. He's successful," she explained. "I just want the pre-nup to lay things out in case something were to happen. It's a smart move."
