Douglasville police arrest woman wanted in NC murder

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. -

A SWAT team took a woman wanted for murder into custody in Douglasville on Tuesday.

Authorities surrounded a motel and took Mulana Parks into custody without incident around 4 p.m.

Parks was wanted in connection with a murder in Greensboro, N.C. according to the FBI. According to FOX 8, 46-year-old Kenneth Lee Galloway was found dead on Oct. 16 at Parks' apartment in Greensboro.

The FBI tracked Parks' cell phone to a Walmart in Douglasville and contacted Douglasville police, who then located her at the motel.

Parks was transported to Douglas County Jail.
