Parking Attendant Allegedly Steals $225K From Eagles Player

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

A parking lot attendant is under federal investigation after allegedly stealing $225,000 from one of the Philadelphia Eagles player's bank accounts.

Police have charged 37-year-old Robert Von Ryan with one account of bank fraud.

While guarding the cars of Philadelphia Eagles football players, Von Ryan allegedly took bank account information belonging to one of the players and used the bank information to transfer more than $225,000 from the account belonging to lineman Todd Herremans in 2009.

If convicted, Von Ryan faces up to 30 years of prison and a $1,000,000 fine.

A spokesman for the team says Herremans money was insured so he got it back.
