FOX 29 Special Report: Parental Advisory

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

In this special report, we're taking an in-depth look at some of the frightening things to which your children may be exposed, from drugs to online dangers.

We begin this four-part, half-hour report with the popular party pill, Molly. We first introduced you to Molly back in January. It's all the rage with teens and college students. As FOX 29's Dave Kinchen explains, the recipe for Molly is becoming increasingly dangerous, even deadly.

Next, we turn our attention now to heroin. An explosion of the drug is happening right here in our area. FOX 29's Shawnette Wilson talks to a young man about his wake-up call, sobriety and his quest to help others.

The pot debate continues to rage on and is taking a dangerous turn. People are finding new ways to get an even more powerful high. FOX 29's Kinchen shows us a new pot craze hitting our streets that could have dangerous results.

Do you ever think your children know more about your smartphone than you do? When it comes to quickly-changing technology, there's a lot parents may not know about, from bullying to sexting. FOX 29's Chris O'Connell explores what some parents are calling the scary side of social media.
