First Snowflakes Could Come This Week

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

Our first taste of winter comes this week as some really cold air dives down from Canada.

This could be nationwide, and it could spark a few flakes as that front passes our area early Tuesday morning.

FOX 29 Meteorologist Caitlin Roth said it looks like a little mix of some wet snow and rain but very, very minor.

Then, in it's wake, we'll cool down, with high temperatures only in the 40s on Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll warm back up into the 50s by Thursday and be back to a normal high for this time of year, 59, by Saturday.

Watch the video above for your complete Philadelphia area seven-day forecast from the Weather Authority.
