Person on CTA Red Line tracks near Argyle hospitalized

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A person on the Red Line tracks near the North Side Argyle station temporarily disrupted service Tuesday morning.

Firefighters took one person from the Argyle station at 1118 W. Argyle St. to Weiss Memorial Hospital in good condition, according to the fire department.

It was not immediately clear if the person fell or jumped onto the tracks, but they were not struck by a train.

Some delays may still occur on the Red Line, according to the CTA.
