Thanksgiving Preparation Tips
Thanksgiving Meal

Grill: Thanksgiving can be stressful since there are typically more items to put in the oven than there is space in the oven. Here are some fun ideas for Thanksgiving that you can do on the grill:
- Smoked Turkey: Use a ceramic grill like a Kamado Joe, The grill should be 225-250 degrees – smoke a 20 lb. turkey for about 9 hours
- Vegetables: Lightly oil vegetables like corn, asparagus and more and place them directly on the grill

Fresh Herbs: Give your dressing, potatoes and more a savory kick by using fresh herbs
- Rosemary: Very flavorful and is one of the most versatile herbs. You can use this in everything – from the turkey and dressing to potatoes and even drinks. Rosemary is a hardy evergreen plant. Plant in your landscape or in a pot for a nearly endless supply
- Thyme: Use to flavor the turkey or add to a soup. A low growing groundcover – perfect for planting along pathways or in pots

Set the Table:
- Rosemary Napkin Rings: For a sit-down dinner, cut sprigs of rosemary that are about 10 inches, attach a name card and use floral wire to tie the ends together to make a ring to go around the napkin
- Thanksgiving Poinsettia ‘Orange Spice': Instead of using a cut flower arrangement that will only last a few days, use a florist plant like this orange poinsettia!
- Fall Décor: Create interest down the center of the table with a variety of fall inspired décor
