NEW YORK (AP) - A memorial concert is scheduled for the musicians of an Iranian band killed in their Brooklyn home last week.

Arash and Soroush Farazmand were members of The Yellow Dogs. The brothers and their roommate were shot to death last Monday.

The concert is set for Monday evening at the Brooklyn Bowl.

The venue's web site says all the proceeds will go to the victims and families affected by the tragedy.

Performers include the well-known local act Nada Surf and several international bands and DJs.

Tickets are between $15 and $30.

The victims were killed by a former member of another Iranian rock band. He opened fire and then killed himself on the roof of the Brooklyn apartment.

New York City subway riders are getting back service on the G train between Brooklyn and Queens. The return of service comes as the Metropolitan Transportation Authority reopens a tunnel Tuesday that was heavily damaged by Superstorm Sandy. The Greenpoint tunnel has been closed for five weeks for repairs. Shuttle buses were provided between G stops in Queens and Brooklyn during that time.

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.
