Dr. Oz Helps Crash Victims In Bucks County

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TWP., Pa. -

Dr. Oz, famed doctor and television personality, helped crash victims in Bucks County on Saturday.

According to the LevittownNow, two people were hurt in a crash in Lower Southampton, and Dr. Oz pulled over, along with other local residents, to help the man and the woman hurt in the crash.

Officials representing Dr. Oz tell FOX 29, quote:

Dr. Oz was driving with his wife in Philly this weekend (during the day). They stopped at a light and saw two cars collide head on. One car was making a turn and one car was crossing the light. The car that was crossing flipped over entirely, hit a huge pole and righted itself. The car that was turning, spun around several times before hitting a curb and stopped.

According to two accounts, Dr. Oz was instrumental in convincing the man to get treatment by medics. In addition, officials representing Dr. Oz said that he got to the woman in the car just in time before it fell into a ditch.

Although she "had lacerations in the back of her head," it seemed like witnessing Dr. Oz made her forget her injuries briefly. According Dr. Oz's representative, "Apparently her first reaction was, 'Oh...Dr. Oz!'"

Dr. Oz was in the Delaware Valley visiting family, according to the LevittownNow.

Dr. Oz has helped crash victims before, including in the incident in New York, where Dr. Oz helped a tourist after a taxi ran over her foot.
