According to investigators, the first incident occurred on November 13, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. According to police, the Natural Coffee located on the 700 block of South 52nd Street was robbed. The employee told police that the suspect approached with a gun while wearing a blue mask and stated, "Give up the money." The employee then opened the cash register and gave the suspect an undetermined amount of cash.

The second incident occurred the next day at around 12:56 p.m. and happened at the Cricket Mobile Store on the 5500 block of Baltimore Avenue, according to police. Again the cash register was robbed by the suspect, who pointed a gun at an employee.

The third incident occurred about an hour later at the Lucky 7 Food Market on 57th street, according to authorities. The suspect was not able to get any money after the employee fought back. The suspect was also wearing a mask, according to the employee.

The suspect tried another place at 7:20 p.m. the same day on the 700 block of 52nd Street, says investigators. He was not able to access the cash register after the employee pressed the panic alarm. He then took three dollars from the employee, says police.

At 8:09 p.m. that night, the suspected entered the Daslin Grocery store on the 700 block of 55th street. He was wearing a white mask this time, surveillance shows. He was not able to obtain any money, according to police.
