Packers lineman Josh Sitton calls Lions' defense, coaches 'scumbags'

DETROIT (WJBK) -

If the Detroit Lions needed any motivation to snap their 10-year Thanksgiving Day losing streak, they now have it thanks to Green Packers lineman Josh Sitton.

In a radio interview Tuesday, Sitton didn't hold back on his hatred for the Lions defensive players and coaching staff.

"They go after quarterbacks and their entire defense takes cheap shots all the time. That's what they do. That's who they are. They're a bunch of dirtbags and scumbags," said Sitton. "That's how the play. That's how they're coached. It starts with their frickin' coach. It starts with their head coach. (Jim) Schwartz, he's a (expletive) too. I wouldn't want to play for him. It starts with him and their D coordinator and their D-line coach. They're all just scumbags."

Well, Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Mr. Sitton.

You can watch the Lions vs. Packers tomorrow with coverage beginning at 10 a.m. on FOX 2.
