See that kid? He has Down Syndrome, But what he does next surprises the entire town.
Watch as this boy takes the field for the first (and last) time of his
high school career. His HUGE heart inspires an entire town as they see a
miracle take place before their eyes.
18-year-old senior Noah VanVooren was born with Down syndrome and has
been a longtime water boy for his high school's football team, the
Little Chute Mustangs in Little Chute, Wisconsin.
For the first time
ever Friday night, VanVooren suited up as honorary team captain and led
his team onto the field. With just 1.2 seconds left on the clock, Little
Chute called time out and put VanVooren in the game.
In the game's
final play, VanVooren received a handoff, ran the ball 35 yards, and
scored his first ever touchdown.
