Students at Arabia Mountain High School and Murphey Candler Elementary School are being transferred to nearby schools following a problem with the water systems, officials say.
A vehicle accident at Klondike road has affected water pressure, and the schools decided to relocate the students.

In a press release, school officials said Arabia Mountain students will transfer to Miller Grove High School for 9th and 10th graders and Lithonia High School for 11th and 12th grade students. Murphey Candler Elementary students will transfer to Salem Middle School.
School buses began relocating the students at 11:30, officials added. School leaders say students will be returned to their respective schools beginning at 1:15pm for normal dismissal. Parents will be able to pick up students at their regular school.
