Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest in connection with the murder of Jonathan Cook.

Jonathan Cook was murdered on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013 in Highland Park. Cook was leaving a friend's home through the front door when he was shot by a male. He was found on the sidewalk in the 100 block of Richton St. between Hamilton Avenue and Third Street. A neighbor found Cook and called 911.

Cook was 20 years old. He graduated from Osborn High School in the City of Detroit and wanted to pursue a career in the car wash business.  His plan was to open his own car wash and build a home for his family, however, his death came just two months before his first child was born.

Cook's family remembers him as the one that kept everyone laughing and joking.
