Persons of interest sketches released in security guard shooting

Phoenix police released have released two sketches of persons of interest who may be involved in the murder of a security guard.

59-year-old Jeffrey Bellemare was shot and killed at a Phoenix apartment complex near 53rd Avenue and Indian School Road on Nov. 29.

He was working at the complex as a security guard.

Neighbors heard at least two shots around 1:30 a.m. and Bellemare was then found dead behind one of the complex buildings.

Witnesses reported seeing a car drive off after the gunshots were fired.

It's described as an older model, light colored sedan with a light vinyl top (not a convertible) and damage to the driver's side fender area.

Phoenix Police have very little to go on concerning this investigation and we are asking anyone who may have information to please call the Phoenix Police Violent Crimes Bureau at 602-262-6141 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. As always, any caller may remain anonymous.
