Crime Stoppers offers reward after murder of 20-year-old Deandre Shawver

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $30,000 for information that leads to an arrest in connection with the murder of 20-year-old Deandre Shawver.

Shawver was fatally shot October 12, 2006 as he was exiting his vehicle in a parking lot. The shooting took place on Harper Avenue near Connor street, on the city's east side.

Shawver was the father of a daughter who is now 8 years old.

Crime Stoppers of Michigan is offering a cash reward of up to $30,000 for information that leads to an arrest. If the tip that leads to an arrest is received by midnight of the day of the press conference there is an additional $1,000 reward for a total of $31,000. Anyone who has information regarding the crime should call Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or 1-800-773-2587. You will remain anonymous.
