Ryan Genigeski is recovering with a head wound after being hit by a vehicle while riding his bike to work. His stepfather tells Fox 2 Ryan was on his way to work at Hillers, where he is a produce clerk, when he was hit by a car.

The impact threw him into the air and he landed alongside the road in the grass. The suspect did not stop nor did anyone else to offer help, and Ryan had to limp to work while bleeding from a head injury he obtained in the accident.

He was then taken to the hospital and, once he was released, he filed a police report. When police returned with Ryan to the scene of the accident all that was left was his damaged bike tire (seen in the photograph).
