ROMULUS, Mich. (WJBK) -

A Delta Airline passenger plane slipped off an airport taxiway Monday morning and ended up getting stuck in the mud, according an airline spokesperson.

Delta Air Lines Flight 2283 from Detroit to Atlanta slid from the taxiway onto the grass in Detroit at approximately 6:40 a.m. Delta reported the plane may have hit some black ice.

No injuries were reported.

All 180 customers were bussed to the terminal where their flight was accommodated with another aircraft.

Delta's maintenance team worked to move the aircraft.

Questions about airport conditions can be directed to the Detroit airport at 734-247-7274.
