Woodland Hills, CA -

(FOX 11 / CNS) Four people were hospitalized with minor injuries today after a suspected street race ended in a two-vehicle collision, police said.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and hospitalized with minor injuries after the collision in the 5600 block of Oakdale Avenue at the intersection with Ventura Boulevard around 9:45 p.m. Thursday, said  Sgt. Jodie McGee of the Los Angeles Police Department's Valley Traffic Division.

Three other people who had been in the two vehicles were hospitalized with minor injuries, he said.

McGee said an eastbound vehicle on Ventura collided with a westbound vehicle making a left-hand turn into Oakdale.

"It's possible there was some street racing going on,'' McGee said.
