CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

With a tiny "pen camera" attached to his shoe, Christopher C. Meyer stood behind a woman in line at a Whole Foods grocery store in River Forest last spring and carefully raised her skirt, according to Cook County prosecutors.

What Meyer didn't know, according to prosecutors: The store had a camera trained on him.

Meyer, 61, of Oak Park, was ordered held on $250,000 bail Saturday, charged with unauthorized video recording, a felony, in connection with the incident June 16, the Sun-Times is reporting.

The shopper at Whole Foods contacted the police after reading a news story about Meyer being accused of a similar incident in Oak Park, Assistant Cook County State's Attorney Brooke Shupe told Judge Laura Sullivan.

Surveillance video from Whole Foods showed Meyer standing behind the woman and lifting up her skirt with his shoe, Shupe said. Investigators later seized Meyer's pen camera, which Shupe said contained video of the woman that had been uploaded to a pornographic web site.

Meyer has three pending case of illegal videotaping, in two cases involving the recording of high school girls, Shupe said.

Meyer has two previous misdemeanor convictions for unlawful taping, according to the prosecutor.
