DETROIT (WJBK) -- The Whole Foods Market in Detroit's Midtown neighborhood is working to help residents make better food choices.

The store will begin hosting a series of free seminars next week. The classes will be held at the Let's Talk Food Nutrition & Culinary Education Center (3670 Woodward Ave., Suite 103-B) located adjacent to the store on Mack Avenue.

A grand opening ceremony for the center is scheduled for Monday.

The classes will focus on shopping for healthier foods and coming up with a game plan to improve eating habits.
