Firefly Music Festival has announced its 2014 line-up that includes over 100 artists, among them Jack Johnson, Arctic Monkeys, Outkast, and Foo Fighters.
The festival is one of the largest on the East Coast; some even believe it will rival Coachella!
"The addition of a fourth day, along with the expansion of our festival acreage and lineup, makes this the most exciting Firefly yet," says Firefly Music Festival Director Greg Bostrom.
Veteran festival-attendees will be pleased to see some familiar attractions like Dogfish Head Brewery, The Arcade, The Coffee House, and Hammock Hangout. Luckily, with the expansion there will be no lack of excitement; several new attractions will be announced prior to the festival.
This will be the third year that Firefly partners with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital via their Music Gives to St. Jude Kids program. Attendees will be able to contribute to St. Jude's lifesaving work through different digital, mobile, and live donation options.
Director Bostrom calls the additions and continuation of previous years work a reflection on the commitment to fans for both this year and the many years to come for the budding festival.
Firefly's variety in its' 100+ artists is sure to grab the attention of fans from all genres. You can expect to see Iron & Wine and City and Colour on the same list as Sleigh Bells and Portugal, The Man.
Tickets, both VIP and general admission, go on sale at noon (EST) on January 20 on FireflyFestival.com.
