Surveillance Captures Suspected Thieves In Paschall Neighborhood

The two suspects brazenly knocked over an air conditioning unit to gain entry to a store, but their faces have been caught on surveillance. Philly Police needs the public's help identifying the two suspects.

According to authorities, on December 26, 2013, at 3:00 am, two unknown males were captured on surveillance video gaining entry to the Paloma Food Market located at 6900 Woodland Avenue in Paschall. Surveillance shows one of the suspects pushing in a wall-mounted air conditioning unit. Once inside, according to police, both suspect took an undetermined amount of cash and cigarettes and fled in an unknown direction.

Here is the suspect description, according to police and surveillance:

  • Suspect #1: Black male, late teens to early 20 years-of-age, thin build, thin mustache and beard, wearing a camouflage sweatshirt and dark pants with a distinctive belt.
  • Suspect #2: Black male, late teens to early 20 years-of-age, thin build, earring, short goatee, wearing a dark colored jacket, light colored hooded sweatshirt and light colored pants.

If you see these suspects, police say do not approach them; instead contact 911 immediately.
