The ovens were loaded with delicious, hot soul food at Ely's Catering on W. 7 Mile. Suddenly, owner Clifton Ely felt and explosion. A white car and another car were stuffed inside the catering business and a cab was running next to the crashed cars. Witnesses next door at a barber shop say the cab slid out of control in the snow, causing the crash.

Gino Wells chased the cab driver who Wells says tried to run from the crash scene. The cab driver was caught and those witnesses called police. Police say they've encountered this cab driver before. One final surprise, two children were riding in the back of the cab.

Thankfully no one was hurt. If you have any information about this case, call Detroit police.
